Seeking help isn't a sign of weakness.

It's a sign you are ready for change.

CATHERINE ROGERS, LCSW

I seek to make therapy a comfortable way to do significant work.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in private practice with an office in Chattanooga, TN since 2002.  I provide a non-judgmental, honest, and oftentimes, humorous approach when helping clients make the needed changes to live a healthier happier life.

I make therapy accessible and convenient by offering in-person sessions in Chattanooga and telehealth sessions throughout Tennessee, New York, and Virginia.

Individual Therapy

As individuals, sometimes we need a different perspective on what we’re dealing with in our lives. As a therapist, I seek to understand you and your life’s circumstances in a way that helps you make the changes you desire.

Couples Therapy

Couple-relationships give us the opportunity to share the responsibility in creating shared pleasure.   It is my work to understand you and your relationship in a way that I can help you navigate together toward mutual satisfaction.

Family Therapy

Families are where we first learn who we are and how to function in the world around us.  It is my work to create a safe place for each member to feel valued and heard and to help the family work together to meet the needs of each member.

Parent & Adult-Child Therapy

Parent & Adult-Child Relationships don’t end or get better just because a child becomes an adult.  In fact, once a child becomes an adult, it can be more difficult to mend the parent/child relationship.

What Clients Say

Are you finding it difficult adjusting to a recent transition in your life?  It may have been sudden and unexpected, or it may be one you eagerly anticipated and are shocked by your difficulty in coping.

LGBTQ

Issues

Are you facing difficulties being accepted by your loved-ones?  Or, do you love someone who identifies with the LGBTQIA+ community and are struggling with how to cope or accept them?  This is a delicate issue for many families and some faiths.

Are you looking for a therapist with experience and openness to work with you within your culture, religious beliefs, or spiritual beliefs?  Do you belong to a Christian denomination that is often misunderstood by mainstream Christian dominations?
